Lottery Consultancy

MacIvor Grant have been specifically appointed to provide consultancy services to Lottery Companies who may wish to determine whether or not they meet the requirements of the World Lottery Association Security Control Standards and the Lottery Specific Standards, to identify any vulnerabilities and to recommend any critical remedial action that may be appropriate.

This service is provided in the form of a health check, called a 'Status Study'.

A critical part of this health check is an examination of the following:

• Channels of Communication
• Division of Responsibilities
• Risk Management Strategy
• IT Architecture and Operating Platforms
• Corporate Security Policy Statements and Procedures
• Network Configuration and Connectivity
• Physical, Logical and Procedural Security Control Methods.

A successful health check provides an independent assurance that a Lottery Company has in place an effective risk management control system and has developed a logical, physical and procedural security system to protect its corporate assets, be they tangible or intangible.
